Brandon Kearns is an Oregon-based transport executive who manages a team responsible for delivering food across four states. He’s responsible for the delivery department’s safety and security, and regularly undertakes inspections. Mr. Kearns spent more than a decade in the US Army as a staff sergeant and was tasked with training and leading a battalion fire support platoon. Drawing up tactical operations plans, he oversaw 52 personnel and ensured that equipment valued at $46 million was secure and in proper working order. He oversaw the efforts of five squads in fire support processing and maneuvers at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and managed the state joint fires readiness certification roster.
Brandon Kearns has earned numerous military recognitions, including good conduct and bronze star medals, and four Army commendation medals. He has also earned parachute, master driver, combat, action, and expert marksman badges. On two occasions, his efforts in the field earned him lifesaving awards.
